BioSensr was born out of a shared frustration: watching elite athletic careers repeatedly stalled or derailed by devastating, recurring muscle injuries. While modern sports analytics excel at measuring external workloads like GPS distance or static mechanical force, they remain blind to underlying neural exhaustion.

We established BioSensr to close this critical return-to-play blind spot. By transforming laboratory-grade surface electromyography (sEMG) into motion-resistant, flexible field wearables, we deliver objective neuromuscular clarity directly to the sideline. Our mission is to empower medical departments and high-performance managers with the definitive physiological insights required to safeguard athlete longevity and performance.

Having previously managed institutional assets and strategic funds at Bankers Trust, serving as the Fund Manager for the Colonial First State Hotel Fund, he provides the robust commercial framework required to transition deep-tech innovations into global enterprise markets.

John specialises in joint-venture deal structuring and corporate execution, ensuring BioSensr’s commercial pilot partnerships, international patent frameworks, and medical quality management systems (ISO 13485) are scaled to strict enterprise-grade standards.

As both a competitive athlete and a biomedical engineer, Jett spent years observing a systemic pattern: players enduring rehabilitation periods and passing traditional strength clearance tests, only to suffer re-injuries within weeks of returning to the field.

Recognising this as a critical engineering deficit, where muscle force looks recovered but underlying neuromuscular pathways remain fatigued, he engineered the BioSensr platform to map true active physiology. Jett specialises in field-deployable biosignal architectures, embedded systems processing, and hardware-software pipeline integration.

Short Term (0–12 Mos)

  • Complete Australian EMC hardware compliance and advance the ISO 13485 medical device framework pathway.
  • Progress active PCT patent filings and finalise the University of Sydney longitudinal validation study.

  • Scale software platform distribution across premium Australian sporting codes (including NRL, Rugby Union, AFL, Soccer).
